10-Inch HMI for Better Control
Both SMARTFILL Altus and SMARTFILL Nexus come with a user-friendly 10-inch HMI. Operators can access recipes, machine settings, production parameters, alarms, and performance data from one clear interface.
A larger HMI simplifies daily operations for production teams, especially when they handle multiple products, pack sizes, and recipes on the same machine.
LAN, WiFi and VNC Support
SmartFill machines can support LAN and WiFi-based connectivity. This enables you to connect the machine to the plant network for easier access and support.
With VNC support, the SmartFill support team can remotely view the machine HMI screen and assist the customer without being physically present at the site.
How Remote Troubleshooting Works
When remote access is enabled, the SmartFill support team can connect to the HMI through VNC and check the machine screen in real time.
This helps in faster diagnosis of alarms, parameter issues, recipe settings, feeding behavior, and operator-level concerns. Remote troubleshooting is available only for authorized SmartFill support personnel.
Two Remote Access Modes
SmartFill machines can work with two remote access modes:
1. Remote Read-Only Mode
In this mode, the SmartFill team as well as end client can only view the machine screen and guide the operator. No settings can be changed remotely.
2. Remote Operations Mode
In this mode, authorized SmartFill support can help change settings, adjust parameters, and modify recipes after customer approval. This is useful during trials, commissioning, product changeovers, and performance tuning.
Data Capturing Through RS232 and RS485
SMARTFILL Altus and SMARTFILL Nexus can support data capturing through RS232 and RS485 communication. This allows production and weight-related data to be shared with connected systems.
The data can be downloaded in .csv format for review, record keeping, production analysis, and quality documentation.
This is useful for tracking batch performance, weight consistency, rejection trends, production counts, and giveaway-related observations.
